
Due to changes with one of our hosting providers, the config settings that are downloaded when you start GroupTools has been moved to anonther server provider.
This will cause old versions of GroupTools to stop working when we decommission the old server.
If you want to continue to use GroupTools, you MUST upgrade to this version!
AAll older version of GroupTools has been taken offline from the website and will stop working from 2017-FEB-01.
Performing a clean install often helps get rid of problems!
Please follow these directions.
- Run the GroupTools Cleaner, it should be found in your start menu if you are using Windows 7 or 10.
Windows 8 users might have to search for it! - When the GroupTools cleaner is done, uninstall GroupTools from your computer.
- When finnished, Download and run the latest GroupTools update.

ATTENTION
Your antivirus may react to this file and detect is as PUP (Possibly Unwanted Program) or any other threat.
This is due to the fact that GroupTools cleaner will DELETE files under %AppData%RoamingGroupTool2Settings\
Please disable your antivirus while dowloading and running!
If you don't trust us on this, you can perform this clean manually instead!
On your keyboard, press the windows button and while holding it, press R.
Open the location %AppData%\Roaming\GroupTool2\Settings\
In the folder "Cache", remove, if present, any files or folders you find there.
In the folder "Greet", remove, if present, any files or folders you find there.
In the folder "Logs", remove, if present, any files or folders you find there.
In the folder "RP", remove, if present, any files or folders you find there.
In the folder "Run", remove, if present, any files or folders you find there.
If you want to remove your Timed Messages:
In the folder "TimedMessages", remove, if present, any files or folders you find there.
Remove also the file "GroupTool2_Bots" (the file may be found as "GroupTool2_Bots.xml")
When this is finshed, close the window and (re)install GroupTools.
You will now have a clean install of GroupTools!
