GroupTools
TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT
PREAMBLE:
GroupTools is not an official Second Life client from Linden Lab. This software is not provided or supported by Linden Lab,
the makers of Second Life.
1. LICENSING:
1.1 Needs:
In order to use GroupTools you need a valid license.
1.2 Purchasing a license and license fees:
Payment is done inworld at our office, using one of the terminals.
License pricing is available on the website and at the office.
We may change the license pricing in the future.
The license must not be transferred to a third party.
1.3 License restrictions and permissions:
The license will be bound to the avatar paying the terminal at our office inworld and not the bot avatar itself.
The owner of the license is also known as a Master to their bot.
The master can use any avatar as a bot, but will require one license for each bot they want to run simultaneously.
1.4 In case GroupTools is going out of business:
If we in the future decide to go out of business, one last update to the software will be made to allow license
registrants to be able to still run the software.
2. DISCLAIMER:
WE ARE PROVIDING GROUPTOOLS “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING,
BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
THE CUSTOMER IS USING THE SOFTWARE AT THEIR OWN RISK.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT GROUPTOOLS WILL BE SAFE, SECURE OR ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE.
WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOST PROFITS OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT
OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR GROUPTOOLS,
EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES (FOR EXAMPLE LOST INSTANT
MESSAGES OR LOSS OF NEW INCOMING INVENTORY).
WE MAY STOP THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME WITH NO NEED TO REFUND ALREADY PAID AND ACTIVE LICENSES.
3. DATA COLLECTION:
3.1 When registering your license, the following data will be collected:
3.1.1 The name of the avatar registering the license (the master),
3.1.2 The UUID key of the avatar registering the license (key of master),
3.1.3 Your email address that you enter when registering.
3.2 When logging the bot in, the following data will be collected:
3.2.1 The name of your bot,
3.2.2 The UUID key of your bot,
3.2.3 The time when you logged in,
3.2.4 The IP address you are currently connecting from.
3.2.5 The version of your operating system.
4. PRIVACY POLICY:
4.1 Usage of collected data:
The information we collect when you register or log in using our software is used to provide you with the
services you have requested, for licensing checkups and to protect us against fraud.
When you log in using GroupTools, the software checks towards the collected data to see whether or not
you have a registered license, if it's a PRO, LITE or trial license, when you purchased it and how many bots
you are currently running.
4.2 Protection of collected data:
We will never rent, sell or share any of your information with third parties unless we believe a release of data
is appropriate with the law to enforce our policies or to protect ours or others rights, property or safety.
4.3 Passwords:
Your Second Life account password will only be stored on your computer
(if you select to save the login data in the Control Center).
The full login process is done on your computer and no passwords will be transmitted to our servers.
5. CONTROLLING LAW AND SEVERABILITY:
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from use of GroupTools shall be Södertörns tingsrätt, Stockholm, Sweden.
The prevailing party in any action to enforce this Agreement shall be entitled to its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision or portion of this Agreement to be unenforceable,
the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.

“Second Life” and “Linden Lab” are trademarks or registered trademarks of Linden Research, Inc. All rights reserved.
No infringement is intended. GroupTools is in no way affiliated or endorsed by either Linden Lab or Second Life.
By “GroupTools” we mean the software and services we make available, including through our website at www.grouptools.eu and
all other services accessible under this domain or sub domains now existing or later developed.
By “we” and “our” we mean Rickard Hill, Ekholmsvägen 200, S-12745 Skärholmen, Sweden.
